Those that know that I refuse to have Windows 95 anywhere on my network may
wonder what I am doing with The Mother of All Windows 95 Books. The answer
is that I am a devoted fan of the lead author. Woody Leonhard writes in a
style that would drive some of you climbing up the wall, but the rest would
enjoy his down to earth, highly irreverent commentary on the operating system
from hell (my description, not his). I also have clients who have, for good
or bad reasons, installed Windows 95 on their machines. (Remember that I do
not program for money, but I do provide technical support and training across
a range of hardware and software used by small businesses in the Oxford
area.)
If you have read any of Leonhard's other books you will know if you like his
style. If you do and have to use Windows 95 you will need little
encouragement from me to buy this book. If you have never come across any of
his previous books, I suggest you browse through one before committing
yourself to purchase
