The source code disc loaded without any problems and allows you to specify the drive and directory of your choice to house the sample programs. The first chapter introduces the reader to programming in Windows and shows how to produce the ubiquitous 'Hello World' program. Further chapters cover, in great detail, scrolling windows, managing icons, cursors and bitmaps, printing text and graphics and creating and using Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL). A well-presented text that starts, quite sensibly, at the beginning and then goes on to cover a variety of topics in an in-depth and systematic way.
