I am going to say virtually nothing about this book. I only discovered it by chance when I dropped in during a lunch break from the ISO and ANSI joint committee meeting on C++ standardisation to see James Lake in the PC Bookshop. James promptly arranged by phone for me to take a review copy with me. Just one more example of the helpful and friendly way he deals with ACCU. The book is essentially a second edition of the previously (twice) reviewed book of a similar name by the same authors. Unfortunately Microsoft Press have released this version in a different series so you would only discover this when you read the preface. Even at the higher price it is an excellent purchase and belongs on every C programmers bookshelf.
